A harbour that still works
Old Quay is the oldest part of Carrow Bay and the only one where the boats matter more than the view of them. Houses are tall and narrow, painted in the same six colours since the 1920s, and most have a workshop or store on the ground floor.
Lofts in the former net sheds sell quickly and rarely reach the public site. Townhouses on Harbour Row change hands about once a decade.
Day to day
The market runs on Saturdays from seven. The ferry to Grey Point leaves every half hour. Parking is the honest downside: most homes have one space or a permit.
