About Tolland & Weir

A small agency with a long memory.

We started in 2009 with two desks and one rule: never list a house we would not want to visit.

Our story

Page 14

Since 2009

We wrote our first listing on the back of a menu.

Imogen Tolland and Dara Weir met as surveyors and left the same week. Their first office was a room above a bakery on Harbour Row, and their first listing was written by hand because the printer was broken. Clients kept the handwriting, so the agency did too.

Seventeen years and six agents later, every home still gets a written feature, and every viewing is still led by the agent who will negotiate it.

How we work

We sell fewer homes, and tell you more about each one.

01

We walk every house first.

Measured by hand, checked for damp and drafts, and photographed in one afternoon by the same person every time.

02

One agent from first call to keys.

You will never be passed to a colleague halfway through. The person who lists your home is the person who negotiates it.

03

We say what we would change.

Every listing has a short note on the things a buyer should know before they fall in love, from flood maps to boiler age.
